Curtis Crocker brings over 20 years in venture investing experience to the firm as its Managing Partner. Prior to joining Reservoir, he was a partner at Alpha Capital Partners and the Northwest Ohio Venture Fund. He has extensive experience as an investor in health care, communications, information technology and other technology companies, and in sourcing, negotiating, building value and exiting venture investments. Curtis has a B.S. from Olivet Nazarene University and an MBA from Indiana University and is a graduate of the Venture Capital Institute.

Matt has over 15 years of experience working with technology companies, in venture capital, product marketing and design engineering roles.
Matt is both a General Partner at Reservoir Venture Partners and a Managing Director at TeleSoft Partners, a Silicon Valley based Venture Capital firm. As a venture capitalist Matt has invested in Jungo Software (NDS), Matrix Semiconductor (SanDisk), Ikanos Communications(IPO: IKAN) and SigmaTel (IPO: SGTL).
Matt was recently an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at TechColumbus. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Matt was at Terayon Communication Systems (IPO: TERN), where he initially architected and designed ASICs for Terayon’s cable modem systems before moving into product marketing and product management. He also had design roles at LSI Logic and Amdahl Corporation. Matt received his B.S., Summa Cum Laude, and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University.

Steve Jaffee is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully managed grown and exited early-stage companies in several sectors. Immediately prior to joining Reservoir in early 2005, he was President and Managing Director of the Capital Markets Group of Textron Financial Corporation. While at Textron, Steve also co-founded and served as Managing Director for Textron Financial Mezzanine Partners L.P. and served as Executive Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions. Textron Financial purchased RFC Capital Corporation, where Steve served as CEO of this venture-backed start-up until its purchase by Textron. RFC specialized in lending to telecommunications and information technology service providers. This transaction provided RFC Capital's venture investors with a 31% internal rate of return.
Prior to that, Steve served as a senior executive at Access Energy Corporation until its sale to Enron Gas Services Corp. During his thirteen-year tenure, Access grew from four employees and a handful of customers to a company with $225 million in sales, 125 employees and 30,000 customers in 30 states.
Steve earned his CPA while working for Price Waterhouse & Co., Inc. He holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from McGill University.

WILLIAM E. TANNER, CPA, CVA Chief Financial Officer btanner@reservoirvp.com
Mr. Tanner has over 25 years experience in finance and operations with technology-related businesses. He has been the CFO for numerous technology companies including fourthchannel, SalesSoft, Progenitor and Symix. At Symix he led a successful IPO effort in 1991. His earlier career experience included six years in the venture capital business with Scientific Advances, Inc., and three years in public accounting with KPMG. Mr. Tanner is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certfied Valuation Analyst and holds a Bachelors degree from The Ohio State University and a MBA from the University of Minnesota.
